Salt & Light Curriculum is a simple and affordable solution for teaching youth ministry in small group, Bible study or Sunday school settings.

Salt & Light Curriculum is written and designed for ministry teachers to easily download, print and lead lessons without much preparation.

Each lesson includes:

• Consistent, straight-forward formatting

• Printable, color-coded scriptures for students to read aloud

• “Teacher Notes” which provide leaders shareable context and remarks throughout the lesson

All purchased curriculum will be emailed to you as a downloadable and printable PDF.

All curriculum is written specifically for 6th-12th grade students in mind.

Recommended group size number: 2-20 students.

Lessons can easily be adapted for college or young adult groups!

All lessons are similarly formatted:

• Opening Activity (usually a printable questionnaire or short, low-prep game)

• Opening Questions

• Scripture Reading (printable option)

• Closing Questions & Prayer

Most lessons typically require about 40 minutes to complete.

Each lesson includes the following resources specifically for teachers:

1. Teaching tips and reminders

2. “Teacher Notes” which provide context and perspective to be shared and read aloud to students

3. Links to suggested videos and articles

For each lesson, color-coded copies of the scripture are provided.

We encourage using this for a number of reasons:

1. It ensures all students are reading from the same translation.

2. Students have opportunities to easily read a part out loud.

3. Students may take home their scripture pages.

That is one of the greatest benefits of Salt & Light! For most lessons, few additional supplies (or are required or easily attainable).

Oftentimes, printing the lesson (along with enough copies of the scripture & game) is all that is required!

Still, as the teacher, we HIGHLY encourage you to read through the lessons and answer the questions before meeting with students. They want to know what you think and hear what you have to say!
